Nurturers– This role focuses on the parent’s involvement with children’s physical, moral, intellectual, emotional and social development.

Advisors– Establishing effective two-way communication between the home and school is this role’s focus.

Supporters– This role focuses on parents obtaining skills and knowledge that will assist them with their children’s education and social development. 

Collaborators– In this role, parents participate with school staff and educators to help solve problems, make decisions and develop policies that make the school system more responsive to families.
