I am honored to be an active part of this strong and successful school community. As the principal of Paul Lawrence Dunbar High School, I work hard to foster a safe and positive learning environment where all students experience high quality instruction, high expectations and a commitment to excellence from all staff members.
Dunbar High is one of the partner schools with Thread, an organization formed by John Hopkins School of Medicine that tutors struggling high school students to help prevent them from failing high school. Students selected by the principal can receive one-on-one tutoring from Thread mentors.
The first group of Thread students achieved 100% graduation and 100% college enrollment rate.
